Paul’s response was “ It doesn’t matter whether it is fashionable. If you know nothing about Internet Marketing, you will find yourself quickly replaced”..

Paul attributes the success of the internet marketing training course to the fact that its founders are NOT formally trained in information technology. As an honours degree graduate in marketing he is regularly quoted as saying that “the less you know about Information Technology the better you will be at internet marketing and (often) the better you will be at helping people understand it when conducting internet marketing training courses”.
Not one to mince his words, Paul climbed the marketing ranks of the pharmaceutical industry where he had to translate complex biological data into 30 second sound bites for his sales force. In Europe the flood gates have opened. DMI is expanding into the UK, Spain, France and Germany with plans for a South East Asia office in late 2010.
When asked where the internet will take us, Paul shows an (out of character) coyness in his response “Its impossible to know, lets just say that 20 years ago we all thought the Fax machine was going to be the death of the mail service…..look how that turned out, predicting the future is a dangerous hobby” Paul says. The internet marketing course focuses on where the consumer is going rather than where the technology is going.
He says that “The worlds GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is estimated to be $60US Trillion. By 2011 over 50% of all retail sales will be made on (or influenced by) the web. I don’t care if it is fashionable to Twitter or Google…. but I do care if that is where the consumers are.
